Deepa Mardolkar was born in Mumbai, spent two decades in London, and is now learning to be a New Yorker. She writes poetry as a way to distill some silence from the noise of busy cities. She has an MSc in Psychology and has spent many years trying to make sense of money and power. These are her reflections on being a woman, an immigrant, and about the choices we make as we negotiate our multiple worlds.
